This is an entry for the Blog That Photo Contest of Island Travel My mom is in Davao since last week and I was a bit worried because of the Tsunami scare but she wasn’t – not a bit. When I called her, she told me not to worry and immediately diverted the topic. At the end of our chit-chat, she asked me what ‘pasalubong’ I would want. It was huge as a football (most are even bigger) and it had spikes. I had imagined what would happen to me if I would accidentally bump myself into a durian and it was terrible.
