Get a Moleskine from Sweden!

Moleskine Planner giveaways are scarce here so I'm also trying my luck on Cecilia's blog (Though I still don't have any idea about the shipping arrangements. haha..)... She'll be raffling off two planners on Dec 6.. :) Check her blog... Her site defines photo blogging and you'll find delight in following her simple day-to-day adventures and her amazing art and photo obsessions (love her drawings!) :)

Reuniting with my family barkada (sisters and brothers)

Flashback: June 2008, I had to leave home after I found out that I was pregnant. More than six months later, I went back and earned my family’s acceptance and forgiveness. Below is my picture with my two lovely sisters, Elay and Git, last 2008 Xmas eve. We’ve been apart for more than six months (longest time they’ve been away from me since they were born) before this pix was taken and I was really REALLY happy I had the chance to see them that Xmas. The other pix features me again… (uhm, my tummy and the baby inside) plus my two good looking brothers. I missed them soooo much before this pix was taken as well (and I miss them now too)… I brought them gifts – all got shirts plus two slip-ons for my sisters and they were pleased… but I know their smiles were not products of the material Xmas treats they got from me. They were just really happy that they finally saw me again – that I was well and happy. Looking forward to seeing them soon this Xmas :) Most Memorable Christmas Moment Give...

Most Memorable Xmas 2008

Me with my two sisters... My tummy (with baby yana inside :) ) plus my two brothers my very pretty sisters again :) My most memorable Xmas was last year’s (2008). I was pregnant with my first daughter by then and it was the only time that I saw my family again (after 6 months – that’s the longest time I’ve been away from my family since birth) after I learned that I was going to be a mom and decided to leave home. There wasn’t much food to share, just the usual holiday ser ving s of ham, spaghetti , and a few pastries but I was most happy... perhaps I could even say that it was the happiest Xmas ever. Why? because on top of the fact that I'm awaiting the birth of my d arling daughter, that was the day I earned my family’s forgiveness and my mom’s reassuring hug :) Updates... Here's a vid of her 4D ultrasound before just days b efore xmas 2008 (the thought of her made 2008 Xmas super special!): And now (2009), here she is... having fun with her very first Christmas ... I sure h...

Not a Good Mom?

Next year, I’ll be having three kids… (I have a 10 month old daughter now, and by February, I’ll give birth to my twins). I know I’m one of the lucky few. Not everyone gets to have three lovely angels by her side! But still, I’m worried. THE BIGGEST DILEMMA: What if I don’t turn out to be a good mom? I’ve read a lot of books, participated in many forums, and I’ve practiced the “art of mommying” among my sisters but I still I can’t shake off the jitters. I’m just praying that everything will turn out well and I’m trying to prepare myself for everything… Part of this preparation for my full blown “mommyhood” next year is reading a book on child discipline. That’s why I’m crossing my fingers and joining the “New Dare to Discipline Book” contest of MarriageandBeyond.com . If you want to try it, here’s how: Visit MarriageandBeyond.com and subscribe to their blog; Write about the contest in your blog, Include a link in your post to the url of MarriageandBeyond.com ; Leave a comment with a l...

Going Gaga Over a Planner

Yup, I’m going gaga over planners . Why? Because I want one – I need one for my BIG YEAR 2010. My daughter is turning a year old We’ll have her ‘Christened’ by then I’ll give birth to my twins I’ll get married And the list goes on… I need a planner… and not just a usual planner. I need something that will inspire me to actually plan and follow my plan. Fortunately, KikayCorner.net is giving away a Belle de Jour 2010 Power Planner this Xmas! Hopefully, I get to be the lucky winner.

"The eyes are the windows of your soul"

“The Eyes are the windows of your soul” It’s a cliché alright… but I guess there’s a truth in that so I’m trying to invest on eye shadows (plus concealers) these days. Also, since I’m a freebie/giveaway fanatic, so I joined this giveaway contest in l1lmamaj.blogspot.com . You’ll have the chance to get two brand new L'Oreal eyeshadow duos and two NYX lip glosses. What you should do: Be a follower of the blog ; Leave a comment and tell her what you like about the blog; Suggest/request for future posts; Post a link on your blog to this contest and send the link.

On grooming and my favorite beauty ritual...

MY BLOG ENTRY FOR THE HBC GIVEAWAY @ YESNOMEH What is your favorite beauty ritual? I work full-time at home and I don’t go out often right now because I’m pregnant with twins and they’re already tooooo heavy but I still make it a point to look my best everyday by following the usual grooming routine (bath, brush, etc). Sometimes, I put light make up on but I think I look best only when I’ve had one long beauty sleep (This is my favorite beauty ritual which lasts for 10 to 12 hours on weekends!). Why is grooming important? Grooming helps you bring out the best you can be and it helps you boost your self esteem. It’s simply an individual’s prime responsibility as a human being.
