I used to have eight pairs of flat shoes - I bought one for every achievement I made or something special that happened to me. There was one for my first job, another for my very first article published in a mag, another for my first out-of-town trip that's work related, etc.. When I moved out of the house however (I ran away), my mom put those shoes on a garage sale (and three were munched by our dog). T'was sad but I can't blame her. As I ventured into mommyhood, I only managed to buy a single pair which signified the birth of my first born. I've been meaning to get myself another pair now that I've given birth to my twins but I'm trying to save as much as I can since we're a bit short of budget these days. We've passed by VNC in Alabang and I saw some wonderful pairs I'd really really like to have.
