MOMMY MOMENTS: My MommyHood Predictions (Expectations) for 2010 :)

1. My Yana baby will have a BIRTHDAY BLAST this end of the month :) She's turning one this JANUARY 26 and we'll celebrate her birthday and her christening on the 30th or 31th. Still planning everything though... Since we're saving up for the CS delivery, we can't spend much for her party but I'll make sure she'll enjoy it.

2. This Feb - target date is FEBRUARY 21 - I'll have my CS operation and tadaaahn! MY TWINS WILL BE BORN :) They will be healthy and cute and charming and lovely and smart and loving and patriotic and well disciplined and everything nice. haha :)

Based on the results of my previous US, we'll be having a boy and a girl :) Names have already been picked - Santiago Rafael (the hubby's choice) and Elysha Velika (my pick) and we're looking forward to having three babies in the house.

I've already bought a few new baby clothes (since Yana's baby clothes are still here) and we also have the huge crib ready (Yana's crib actually). Before the end of the month, I'll buy a few more baby thingies and I'll probably do my shopping online.

I JUST DO HOPE WE CAN FIND A NANNY SOON!

3. My WHOLE family will be there when I deliver the babies (Only my father and my brother managed to visit me in the lying-in clinic a few hours after I gave birth to my eldest, lovely bubbly daughter).

4. I'll DO WELL AT WORK. I admit it. In the past few weeks, I've not been as productive as I was before. My list of reasons runs long - lack of sleepy, nausea, dizziness, a suicidal laptop, and more... but I don't want these to turn into petty excuses. So, I should make it a point to do everything that I can to motivate myself. I’ll challenge my limits (though I wouldn’t risk my babies’ health)

5. Our small business will PROSPER. Yup, we have this motor shop, RED BULB MOTOTEKNIKZ which Mine manages. I hope it gets bigger and bigger :) Within this year, probably after my operation, I’ll make a website and an FB account for it so we can also do business online.

6. I’ll win more contests and be more active online :) haha! How I wish! I’ve been very blessed last year and the best gadget I got for free (though I had to pay PhP 2,700 in taxes and service fees), is the SAMSUNG ST550 :) Love It! This year, I’m looking forward to more free gadgets – LED TVs, mobile phones, iPods, laptops, haha :) yehey! (Crossing my fingers), and I will update my blog – or make it 'my blogs' – at least twice a week, if not everyday.

7. We’ll start saving enough and paying debts (Nuff said).

8. I’ll start a small printing and design business here at home :) (Will get the printers soon)

9. I’ll Lose Weight. Since I started my mommy-hood (pregnancy with my Yana), I’ve gained 60 + pounds and I’m finding it hard to walk now. I’m looking forward to a ‘lighter me’ after the twins are born.

10. More traveling, more people to meet, more friends to make, more smiles to share, more quality moments with my family and less poverty and violence for us Filipinos.

P.S. Thanks to Chris from Mommyjourney.com :)

Real Leaf Paparazzi

I have never been a fan of sodas. Nor did I ever engage in a one-night spree with beer or vodka. Instead, I have always loved ice-cold tea. Drinking tea is a habit I’ve developed since I was in college and my ‘tea-addictivity’ has never wavered since. I’ve patiently put up with teabags for years but fortunately, bottled-up teas are now available and distributed in heaps. These days, I’m much fond of Nestea’s Real Leaf Tea and I share this fondness with my two closest “allies” – my partner in life and my younger brother. W hat follows is our one big atte mpt to encourage more people to engage in our quest for a Real Life with Coca Cola’s Real Le af tea (and of course, an attempt to get a prize from Nuffnang's exciting contest- Real Leaf Paparazzi!)… This is the typical “Juan” trying to have a Real Life. With the help of the Real Leaf tea, my brother 'John' tries to stay 100% on. He tries to relieve the exhaustion, stress, and anxiety brought by… (a) a hard day’s work as a n...

Life In Taborea: The World Of Runes Of Magic

Runes of Magic (RoM) is a free massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by the Taiwanese developer Runewaker Entertainment. It's here in the Philippines now, and has been in Open Beta since January 8. My brother is addicted to the game and I have read a lot of rave reviews about it. The most frequent of which is the fact that its graphics are very appealing and quite realistic. S et in a fantasy world filled with magic, monsters, and heroes, it gives you an out of this world experience as you try out a variety of quests and battle with f ellow players and monsters. Whenever you take on your character - may it be a rogue, mage, priest, warrior, or knight, you will feel as if you're leading a double life. Those who have loved DOTA and World of Warcraft will definitely enj oy this game more. Mommy Moments: Dear Mommy

Dear Mommy Dear Mommy, your child is your princess. She is your responsibility. If not for her own sake, never let her get hurt by any means. Dear Mommy, your child is your fan. She learns and takes after what you do, how you feel, where you go, how you react, what you think, why you love and why you hate. For her, be the best. Do not fail at being a good person for she too might suffer the same fate. Dear Mommy, your child is your student. Teach her everything that you know and guide her in every way that you can. Bombard her with good thoughts, warm emotions, and logical and critical reasoning. Empower her with love, understanding and patience. Dear Mommy, your child is your flesh and blood. Accept her. Recognize the whole of her - strengths, weaknesses, successes, and failures. Never forsake her for making wrong decisions and doing wrong things. She needs your guidance and your encouragement, not your pity, pride, and punishment. She needs you even when she says she doesn...
