If I were super...

I read Kaythrine's post (MySimpleLife) on the powers she wanted to have if she were super mom and I found the topic very interesting so I'm posting a list of the five mighty mommy powers I wish I had too :)

First off, I'd like to be super strong so I can lift everything and anything. This way, I can go about my mommy duties and other household chores without needi
ng the help of someone stronger than me. I bet I can also lift the twins at the same time and probably carry my eldest on my back :)
Then, I'd like to have super speed. If I were as fast as Sonic, I'd be able to do a lot of things in my limited 24hours of daily living. I'd be able to finish household chores in an inst
ant and I'll have more time to play with the kids and blog. I'd be able to type faster and read faster, and join more contests! haha!

Telekinesis is another very nice power especially for mommies. Imagine, each time yza and ysha's diaper get's soiled, I can lift them both and change their diapers simultaneously while sweeping the floor. When they cry at the same time during the wee hours of
the morning, I can lift them both right away without having to get up from bed. I can also lift Yana and stop her from bolting out the door or going to the bath room or climbing the refrigerator and chairs.
Another power I'd like is the power to control time and space. I can go back and
undo my mommyhood mistakes like forgetting to change the babies' diapers at an earlier time, etc. When they grow old, I can also go back to the past and wash them grow old again... Oh god, I'd really dread the day when they'll get married or decide to live independently... Thank God, fortunately (and hopefully) that's approximately 20-25 years from now.

Lastly, I'd like to be immortal like Scamper (the bunny from Igor, the movie)... but then, I want to be immortal only if my daughters would have the same power...

Real Leaf Paparazzi

I have never been a fan of sodas. Nor did I ever engage in a one-night spree with beer or vodka. Instead, I have always loved ice-cold tea. Drinking tea is a habit I’ve developed since I was in college and my ‘tea-addictivity’ has never wavered since. I’ve patiently put up with teabags for years but fortunately, bottled-up teas are now available and distributed in heaps. These days, I’m much fond of Nestea’s Real Leaf Tea and I share this fondness with my two closest “allies” – my partner in life and my younger brother. W hat follows is our one big atte mpt to encourage more people to engage in our quest for a Real Life with Coca Cola’s Real Le af tea (and of course, an attempt to get a prize from Nuffnang's exciting contest- Real Leaf Paparazzi!)… This is the typical “Juan” trying to have a Real Life. With the help of the Real Leaf tea, my brother 'John' tries to stay 100% on. He tries to relieve the exhaustion, stress, and anxiety brought by… (a) a hard day’s work as a n...

Project ALL-TIME: The iPop

The All-Time Dilemma Tardiness. Delays. Lost opportunities. I'm pretty sure everybody has experienced these things just by not being at the right place at the right time. Such wouldn't happen if we can teleport. If we could just pop out anywhere we want to, then we wouldn't miss out on important events just because of congested roads and punctuality issues of public transportation. We can go wherever we want without worrying about flight reservations, car maintenance, and sky-high transportation fares. Moreover, we will no longer be bothered by the fact that... A pedestrian is injured in a traffic accident every eight minutes, An estimated 1.3 million people die on our roads each year, About 1,600 aviation accidents causing about 600 deaths happen yearly, About 10, 200 people get injured inside elevators every year, and There are 6,000 escalator injuries annually, in the U.S. alone. At a more personal level, having the ability to teleport can help Dad get to his...

Mommy Moments: Mother's Day 2010

At first, I wanted to skip this week's MM because the theme was Mother's Day and I really don't have much to share about that day.  I started that day (it was actually 'night' because we were all still awake during the wee hours of the morning) with a hug, a kiss, and a greeting from hubby... The End...  Actually, I was a bit sad that day since I wasn't able to visit my Mom and give her something. I just called her up to greet her and to tell her that I love her. That's it. I also didn't receive a card or a flower from hubby **sigh** and my babies are... well, babies, so they couldn't possibly come up with a card. However, I really appreciate all the bloggers, online friends, and "offline friends" :) who extended their greetings to me. I really felt remembered with all the FB photo tagging, wall posts, and mails. Before I started making this post, I read Mommy Chris' MM entry and she noted that we should write about why this year...
