Mommy Moments: Song From a Mom's Heart

The sleepy heads which are fond of my lullabyes Among the songs which best describes what I feel for my kids are Slipping Through My Fingers and Not While I'm Around I first heard Slipping Through My Fingers as part of the movie Mama Mia and I cried. Here are some of the lines which best express my feelings for my kids... "Slipping through my fingers all the time I try to capture every minute The feeling in it Slipping through my fingers all the time Do I really see what's in her mind Each time I think I'm close to knowing She keeps on growing Slipping through my fingers all the time Sometimes I wish that I could freeze the picture And save it from the funny tricks of time Slipping through my fingers..." As for Not While I'm around, I first heard it when I watched the play Miss Saigon (Not that of Lea's, just a school rendition). I loved it even more when it was sang as part of the Johnny Depp Movie. Life In Taborea: The World Of Runes Of Magic

Runes of Magic (RoM) is a free massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by the Taiwanese developer Runewaker Entertainment. It's here in the Philippines now, and has been in Open Beta since January 8. My brother is addicted to the game and I have read a lot of rave reviews about it. The most frequent of which is the fact that its graphics are very appealing and quite realistic. S et in a fantasy world filled with magic, monsters, and heroes, it gives you an out of this world experience as you try out a variety of quests and battle with f ellow players and monsters. Whenever you take on your character - may it be a rogue, mage, priest, warrior, or knight, you will feel as if you're leading a double life. Those who have loved DOTA and World of Warcraft will definitely enj oy this game more. If I could have just a pair of shoes...

I used to have eight pairs of flat shoes - I bought one for every achievement I made or something special that happened to me. There was one for my first job, another for my very first article published in a mag, another for my first out-of-town trip that's work related, etc.. When I moved out of the house however (I ran away), my mom put those shoes on a garage sale (and three were munched by our dog). T'was sad but I can't blame her. As I ventured into mommyhood, I only managed to buy a single pair which signified the birth of my first born. I've been meaning to get myself another pair now that I've given birth to my twins but I'm trying to save as much as I can since we're a bit short of budget these days. We've passed by VNC in Alabang and I saw some wonderful pairs I'd really really like to have. If you could get me just one pair, that would certainly be one of my cherished possessions I could use now that I can walk properly and travel more! My
