Project ALL-TIME: The iPop

The All-Time Dilemma Tardiness. Delays. Lost opportunities. I'm pretty sure everybody has experienced these things just by not being at the right place at the right time. Such wouldn't happen if we can teleport. If we could just pop out anywhere we want to, then we wouldn't miss out on important events just because of congested roads and punctuality issues of public transportation. We can go wherever we want without worrying about flight reservations, car maintenance, and sky-high transportation fares. Moreover, we will no longer be bothered by the fact that... A pedestrian is injured in a traffic accident every eight minutes, An estimated 1.3 million people die on our roads each year, About 1,600 aviation accidents causing about 600 deaths happen yearly, About 10, 200 people get injured inside elevators every year, and There are 6,000 escalator injuries annually, in the U.S. alone. At a more personal level, having the ability to teleport can help Dad get to his

One Tagaytay, The Right Place

I live in Las Pinas and Tagaytay is just about an hour away from us. The irony however is that though Tagaytay is a prime travel destination, I’ve been there only once and I didn’t even have much fun during that first T trip (was still very pregnant then..)… and so, I promised myself that the next time I go there, I should – and I will – have a great time with my family. Since it’s almost summer, I’m thinking… Should I take that next super fun Tagaytay trip next month? If I would, I want it to be an ultimate intimate bonding experience for our family. I know the must-visit places - Picnic Grove, People’s Park in the Sky, Taal Volcano, etc… but I haven’t decided on where we should stay. Fortunately, I stumbled upon a site which features One Tagaytay and I think this place is THE RIGHT PLACE that I was looking for. One Tagaytay simply stands out from the rest of the pack because it’s not overstated. It is not too prolific. It’s not too overwhelmingly and insignificantly extravagan

Davao, Durian, Delicioso

This is an entry for the Blog That Photo Contest of Island Travel My mom is in Davao since last week and I was a bit worried because of the Tsunami scare but she wasn’t – not a bit. When I called her, she told me not to worry and immediately diverted the topic. At the end of our chit-chat, she asked me what ‘pasalubong’ I would want. Well, I already have a couple of ‘malong’ so what else would I want? Ahhh! – Durian, my fave Davao goodie. Fruits in Davao from http://islandtravelphilippines.blogspot.com/2010/03/fruits-in-time-for-araw-ng-dabaw.html When I first saw a Durian fruit, I was scared of it. It was huge as a football (most are even bigger) and it had spikes. I had imagined what would happen to me if I would accidentally bump myself into a durian and it was terrible. On top of its unappetizing appearance, it stinks. Much to my surprise however, it tasted good - really good. It’s creamy, sweet, and addicting. No wonder a lot of goodies are made out of it - candies, cakes, biscu
