Steps and Milestones...

See how my baby walks...

My darling daughter is sooo makulit. She just started walking (well, the official date for that is Dec 02, 09 @ 10 months but I didn't have a cam then) and she's exploring the whole house as much as she can. Whenever she sees that the door to the motor shop is open, she tries to rush off and sneak out. I find it hard to run after her as my tummy is overly large now. I just yell "No" but she just looks at me with a naughty smile and then goes on with her mischievous deed without heed to what I'm telling her. Annoying but adorable really :)

I'm so so proud of her... not only every time she takes her awkward balancing acts but especially when she stands up each time she takes the wrong step and falls.

When she first attempted to walk on her own, I did try to stop her, simply because I knew that there was a possibility that she'll get hurt. However, I also knew that if I didn't let go, then she would never learn how to walk at all. (Frankly, letting go of a child so she could learn and do her own thing is much harder than letting go of a lover.)

Whenever I see her taking her steps, I get excited and worried at the same time. I'm happy and I watch each step intently, praying that she won't slip or fall. Most of all, I get a weird form of fulfillment as a mom. I love my daughter sooo much and I admire her for her innocent courage and persistence...

Real Leaf Paparazzi

I have never been a fan of sodas. Nor did I ever engage in a one-night spree with beer or vodka. Instead, I have always loved ice-cold tea. Drinking tea is a habit I’ve developed since I was in college and my ‘tea-addictivity’ has never wavered since. I’ve patiently put up with teabags for years but fortunately, bottled-up teas are now available and distributed in heaps. These days, I’m much fond of Nestea’s Real Leaf Tea and I share this fondness with my two closest “allies” – my partner in life and my younger brother. W hat follows is our one big atte mpt to encourage more people to engage in our quest for a Real Life with Coca Cola’s Real Le af tea (and of course, an attempt to get a prize from Nuffnang's exciting contest- Real Leaf Paparazzi!)… This is the typical “Juan” trying to have a Real Life. With the help of the Real Leaf tea, my brother 'John' tries to stay 100% on. He tries to relieve the exhaustion, stress, and anxiety brought by… (a) a hard day’s work as a n...

I Have My OWN INFO DOMAINS :)

About 16 hours ago, I was ranting about my wish to have my own domains for my blogs. I figured that I should wait for the main domain giveaways contests which I joined before I decide to buy one...  But alas, the stubborn Ellen couldn't wait and so, I bought web hosting services from Mommy Rubz through Mom's Hosting ... and I also bought a domain name - www.mommysinfodose.info from Godaddy through her. Guess how much I had to pay? Just $13 :) (a dollar for one year of INFO domain name registration for GODaddy, and then $12 for a year of hosting from Mom's Hosting - YES, a dollar every month :D ). The other good news is that instead of having a domain just for Mommy's Infodose, I will now have an INFO domain for BLOGGITYBOOP too :) YEHEY. I won from The Domain Angel 's Quick Domain Giveaway just by being the first commenter on the contest post :D Ain't I lucky? Don't you fret though, because the angel will give away domains every month - Yes, EVERY MONT...

Project ALL-TIME: The iPop

The All-Time Dilemma Tardiness. Delays. Lost opportunities. I'm pretty sure everybody has experienced these things just by not being at the right place at the right time. Such wouldn't happen if we can teleport. If we could just pop out anywhere we want to, then we wouldn't miss out on important events just because of congested roads and punctuality issues of public transportation. We can go wherever we want without worrying about flight reservations, car maintenance, and sky-high transportation fares. Moreover, we will no longer be bothered by the fact that... A pedestrian is injured in a traffic accident every eight minutes, An estimated 1.3 million people die on our roads each year, About 1,600 aviation accidents causing about 600 deaths happen yearly, About 10, 200 people get injured inside elevators every year, and There are 6,000 escalator injuries annually, in the U.S. alone. At a more personal level, having the ability to teleport can help Dad get to his...
